When you figuring out how much fabric you’;ll need for your curtains, give yourself enough ‘;head space’; for a 4″; hem across the top. The?4″; hem across the top of the curtain panel allows for the grommets to hang properly.

Thennursery lumbar pillow, account for the amount of fabric that actually hangs above your curtain rod. Add that number to your final finished length.

You can find grommets in several home decor stores and online. These were the ones used for the burlap. It has been more than 2?years and they are still holding up well!

Since they only require?an inexpensive grommet pack, scissors and pencil, you can do them very easily. Using the guide provided, lightly trace the stencil on the fabric. Spacing of the grommet varies on the count of grommets needed.

Stay with an even number. If I have a bolt width of fabric, I use the full 8 pack, if I cut the panel in half, I only use 4 of them.

Looking at the stencil, cut the fabric out of the circles. Try to get as close as possible to the stencil outline. Now its time to pop in the grommets! Press one side of the grommet into the other, sandwiching the fabric in between. Repeat for each grommet.

In less than 15 minutes, you can have a panel with cute grommets!??They are super easy?to install and look like something you may have ordered custom. Big bonus for just a few dollars!

Are you a grommet fan? I prefer them in areas where the top of the panel is easily visible.

For quite a while now, I have been seeing the most adorable “printables.” If you are not familiar with the term, I can tell you that they are basically fun graphics or words that you print out and pop in a frame. Easy, peasy. They are all over Etsy and Pinterest. I even PAID for some printables for Etsy for my family room {PS- The family room reveal will be coming at the beginning of the year and it will blow your socks off. That's not bragging, because it's true!}.

Remember how it was only like 2 weeks ago that I announced here that we had our 4th little baby and time stopped so I could snuggle on that wee boy day after day? Ohhh, those were some precious days…..but it hasn’t only been 2 weeks, and that wee child isn’t so wee anymore. Oliver is a huge 19 month old now and is as full of fire as they come!? Ahhhh, the sass of the youngest child is a real thing, my friends….but wow, we can’t get enough of him and constantly laugh as he figures out his own little personality each day.

Ooh la la!? There’s nothing like a pair of gorgeous drape panels to complete the look of your nursery.
